INDUSTRY AND EMPLOYABILITY

What happens between the degree and the job.

Industry projects with their funding and their teams, industrial visits with what was learned on them, and mock interviews with the feedback a student actually receives. Recorded, so that a claim about employability has something behind it.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Claimed in a prospectus, evidenced nowhere.

Every university states that its graduates are ready for industry. Ask which students were placed on which project, with which company, and what came back afterwards, and the answer is usually a person rather than a record.

WHAT IS IN IT

Everything this office has to stand behind.

Industry projects

Projects with their funding, their student and faculty teams, their progress and their status, held against the industry and the location they sit in.

Industrial visits

Scheduled with the industry and the institute, with faculty attendance recorded and feedback captured from both sides afterwards.

Mock interviews

Interview slots planned per term, with the marks awarded and the areas for improvement written down where the student can act on them.

Industry response

What the company said, kept with the visit or the project it belongs to.

THE BOUNDARY

It records what happened. Your faculty judge it.

The marks in a mock interview are given by the faculty conducting it, and the feedback is theirs. Rize holds it against the student and the term, so that it is available the next time it matters.

THE LIVE DEMONSTRATION

Open a real registrar’s office.

Four departments run live at edu.tifaqm.com: admissions, finance, HR and academics. Sign in as a guest and open them as a registrar would. No form stands in front of it, and no one calls you afterwards.
