ADMISSION AND MERIT
Every applicant, one merit list.
Applications arrive with preferences, prior boards and documents. Rize builds the merit list from your criteria, applies your quotas, allocates the seats and holds the entry test behind it. One rule, applied the same way to everyone.
WHY THIS EXISTS
Merit is defended in public.
A quota applied by hand, in a spreadsheet, by someone working late, is the kind of decision that reaches a newspaper before it reaches a committee. The institution then has to reconstruct how the list was made.
WHAT IS IN IT
Everything this office has to stand behind.
Online application
Programme preferences, prior board and passing year, supporting documents, references, and the steps an applicant moves through.
Merit criteria and merit lists
Your criteria, held as rules, producing a merit list and a merit register.
Quotas
Institutional quotas and the quota an applicant claims, including Hafiz-e-Quran.
Seat allocation
Allocation across campuses and programmes, line by line.
Entry test
Test centres and sittings, held against the applicants assigned to them.
Admission fee confirmation
The step that turns an offer into an enrolment.
Enquiry types and rejection reasons
Recorded rather than remembered, so a decision can be explained a year later.
THE BOUNDARY
It applies the criteria. Your committee sets them.
Rize does not decide who is admitted. Your admissions committee writes the criteria and the quotas, and Rize applies them identically to every applicant, which is the part a human doing it at speed cannot promise.
THE LIVE DEMONSTRATION
Open a real registrar’s office.
Four departments run live at edu.tifaqm.com: admissions, finance, HR and academics. Sign in as a guest and open them as a registrar would. No form stands in front of it, and no one calls you afterwards.
