FEES AND FINANCE

Every voucher, and what happened to it.

Fee heads and categories, additional charges, adjustments and their reversals, refunds with the reason they were given, advance payments and donors. Receipts, a payment register, and a trail under all of it.

WHY THIS EXISTS

A fee query becomes an excavation.

A parent asks why the amount differs from last term. Answering means a receipt book, two spreadsheets and a person who remembers the waiver. The answer given depends on who is asked.

WHAT IS IN IT

Everything this office has to stand behind.

Fee heads and categories

The structure a voucher is built from, with additional charges by type.

Adjustments

Requested, applied, and reversible, with the reversal recorded rather than the original quietly edited.

Refunds

By type, with the reason, through a request that leaves a trail.

Advance payments and donors

Money received early, and money received on a student's behalf.

Receipts

Processed receipts, non-barcode receipts, and a deletion log for the ones that were removed.

Payment register

What was collected, from whom, against which head.

Tuition, accounts and payroll

The ledger the institution's finance office already recognises.

THE BOUNDARY

It records the money. Your finance office moves it.

Rize holds what was charged, what was paid, what was adjusted and who approved each of those. It does not decide a waiver, and it does not release a refund. Those are decisions with names attached.

THE LIVE DEMONSTRATION

Open a real registrar’s office.

Four departments run live at edu.tifaqm.com: admissions, finance, HR and academics. Sign in as a guest and open them as a registrar would. No form stands in front of it, and no one calls you afterwards.
