PSYCHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT
A questionnaire nobody answers honestly.
ED Quest puts the instrument inside a game. The student plays. What comes back describes the student who played, rather than the student they would like on file.
WHY THIS EXISTS
Twenty questions, no stake.
Handed a Likert scale on a Friday afternoon with nothing riding on it, a student answers for the version of themselves they would like on file. The institution then keeps that answer for three years.
WHAT IT IS FOR
Described, rather than sorted.
A psychometric result is a description of a student, not a verdict on one. It is there to tell your people something about who they are working with, and nothing it returns decides anything about anyone.
THE BOUNDARY
It describes. It does not decide.
No admission, progression or grade turns on what ED Quest returns. Your standards decide those, and the people answerable for them decide them. A description of a student is not a judgement about one, and it is never treated as a reason.
THE LIVE DEMONSTRATION
Play it yourself.
Sign in as a guest at edu.tifaqm.com and take it as a student would. No form stands in front of it, and no one calls you afterwards.
